General Features

The DSI barrier mesh sheet combines welded wire mesh sheet and high quality fine mesh backing which has been woven into the sheet. It is a specifically designed mesh mining product which is used as a formwork panel (Stopping Mesh) for underground ventilation applications.

The objectives of the barrier mesh sheet have been incorporated into the design by a number of features:

Can be easily cut to suit mines of various opening dimensions.
Eliminates the need to place mesh and drap and fix cloth.
Has high strength and rigidity.
Can be used with shotcrete and flexible membrane products.
Lightweight.
Reduces installation time over traditional stopping technology.
Flush all round.
Easy to handle.
