General Features
- Domed Plates are compatible with DSI Friction Bolts.
- They are complementary products and assist in overcoming the problems of minor surface angularity. The Domed Plate and Friction Bolt assembly allows for up to 3° angle of angular misalignment.
- The DSI Friction Bolt System utilizes the Domed Plate as a load indicator to complement the Friction Bolts. They are designed to indicate when a load is transferred to the plate approaching the yield strength of the bolt.
- The 200x200x4mm plate is specially designed (patent pending) to be used in conjunction with the 47mm Friction Bolt to secure 100x100mm aperture mesh.
- All DSI Friction Bolt Domed Plates incorporate a generous lug for hanging of service lines.
- Corrosion protection may be provided by hot dip galvanizing (refer to Section G).
