General Features

  • The GXT Cable Bolt has been designed to be a high load transfer, long tendon secondary support system. The objectives of the GXT Cable Bolt have been incorporated into the design by a number of features:
  • Strand Properties: The GXT Cable Bolt is made from 18.5mm Dyform pre-stressed, 7 wire strand. Fewer strands make the bolt lighter & more manageable.
  • Enhanced load transfer: The bolt achieves greater load transfer compared to other tendon support by Garfrod Bulbing. This can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
  • Pre-tensioning: By use of a DSI Tensioning Unit, the GXT Cable Bolt can be tensioned from 10t to 25t.

Standard Lengths & Packaging

  • Standard lengths available include 2.1m, 4.1m, 6.1m, and 8.1m.
    Standard pack of 25, custom packaging available on request.
