General Features

  • The fabricated rotary scroll drill rod is suitable for "dry" drilling in medium to soft rocks.
  • These rotary drill rods are fabricated from a high strength steel core with a spiral rib to promote the extraction of the cuttings.
  • A low carbon wire is continuously welded over the length of the core and provides the scroll for extraction of rock cuttings from the hole during drilling.
  • A range of drive ends can be provided to suit most drilling machines. Suits 1/2" whitworth drill bits only.
