General Features 

  • Various types of drill rod / drill bit adapters are available in order to facilitate the use of a specific type of drill bit with any drill rod.
  • The adapter system allows the use of a drill bit not normally used with a drill rod to be used for a non-standard purpose.
  • The system is particularly useful when using coupled bolts, large diameter bolts for anchoring machinery etc. or when installing monitoring equipment.
  • Each adapter is precision-machined from high tensile steel and is supplied in Dichromate and Passivated coated yellow for corrosion protection instores and visibility underground.
  • Care should be taken when using all adapters as failures can occasionally occur.
